DUMPLINGS

makes	8 dumplings
boil	20-30minutes

Ingredients

110g(4oz)   self-rising flour or       
            plain flour  
1 tsp       baking powder
50g(2oz)    vegetable suet
1/4tsp	    dried mixed herbs
1/4tsp	    salt 
                      pepper
About 3 oz of water  

Method

1. Mix the flour, baking powder, 
salt and pepper in a bowl.

2. Stir in the suet and herbs 
and just enough water to make 
a soft but not too sticky dough.

3. Shape it into eight small 
dumplings.

4. Put the dumplings into a pan 
of boiling  water , casserole or 
stew  for 20-30minutes. The
dumplings will get larger 
with cooking.
