RICE  


BOILED RICE

white or brown Basmati rice
serves	2

Simmer for 15 minutes 
Then leave for 15 minutes

1/2   cups  white Basmati rice
1 1/4 cups water for white rice 
More water for brown rice

1. Wash the rice throughly and 
place in a saucepan with water.
 
2. Bring to the boil, reduce 
the heat and simmer for 15 
minutes or until the rice is 
tender and all the liquid is 
absorbed. 

3. Turn off the heat and 
leave the lid on for 15 more 
minutes then fluff the rice.
