FRIED CHICKEN
serves	2

Ingredients

1	chicken breast, cut into 6 
        pieces
1tsp	grated fresh ginger
1tsp	soy sauce
1/2tsp	paprika
1tbsp	corn flour
1tbsp	plain flour
vegetable or sunflower oil 
for deep frying

Method

1. Marinate the chicken with ginger,
soy sauce and paprika for at least 
30 minutes.

2. mix the cornflour and plain flour 
together and sprinkle over the chicken
and rub with your finger to coat well.

3. Pour the oil into a saucepan about
2.5cm deep and heat until hot enough 
and deep fry the chicken pieces.

Variation

Fried Chicken with Sticky Sauce

Put the cooked chicken pieces in a
frying pan.Add just enough water to
cover. Season with sugar and soy
sauce and cook gently until the sauce 
thickens and the chicken is coated.
