SPAGHETTI  BOLOGNESE

serves	2
cooking time 1 hour

Ingredients

5 - 5 1/2oz spaghetti, boiled in 
salted water for 20-25minutes, 
drain and toss with olive oil
and chopped parsley.

---for Bolognese sauce---

oil for cooking
3 1/2oz   lean minced beef
1/2	  onion, chopped small
      some carrot, chopped small
1/2	  red pepper, chopped small
1	  garlic clove, chopped small
2-3	  mushrooms, sliced
1/2	  tin tomatoes
1	  bay leaf

Dried oregano,paprika,tomato 
puree, tomato ketchup, 
soy sauce,Worcestershire sauce
water ,salt and pepper .

Serve with chopped parsley,
olive oil and grated cheese.

Method

1. Fry the onion, carrot, red 
pepper and garlic in the oil. 
Add mushrooms and cook.

2. Add tin tomatoes, bay leaf, 
oregano, paprika, tomato puree, 
tomato ketchup,soy sauce, 
Worcestershire sauce, salt and 
pepper.And sufficient water.
 
3. Add minced beef . Bring the 
mixture to the boil. Reduce the 
heat and simmer gently for 1 hour. 

4. Add chopped parsley and drizzle 
some olive oil.

5. Serve with cooked spaghetti and 
grated cheese.
